How to connect a computer to an idj2

Updated April 17, 2017

IDJ2 is a piece of hardware for aspiring DJs that serves as a remote turntable and mixing board. Connecting an IDJ2 to your computer allows you to use your computer's speakers as an output source, along with the ability to save information to your computer's hard drive. Connecting this hardware to your computer is a fairly easy process that can be completed in less than 20 minutes.

Place the IDJ2 installation CD in your computer's CD drive and press the "Install" button after the autorun begins. This will place the required software on your computer.

Plug the USB cable into a USB port on the IDJ2, and the other end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.

Restart your computer and the IDJ2 will be automatically detected.

Open the "Start" menu, click on the "Control Panel," and open the IDJ2 software to perform any required operations.
