How to Hook Up a Panasonic Viera Stereo

Updated February 21, 2017

The Panasonic Viera is a flat screen LCD television. The TV has built-in speakers, but you might choose to enhance the sound system by connecting a stereo to the TV. Any stereo system with an "Audio In" port can be connected to the Panasonic Viera.

Plug the RCA cables into the "Audio Out" port on the rear of the Panasonic Viera. Your television only has one out port, so you can only attach one stereo system at a time.

Connect the RCA cables into the "Audio In" port on the back of the stereo system. Make sure to match up the colours of the RCA cables with the same coloured ports.

Power on the television and the stereo system. Press the "Aux" button on your stereo. This changes the stereo to play the contents being brought in through the RCA ports. You can now hear the audio from the television play through the stereo speakers.
