Double click on the "Orbicam" icon on your Acer Aspire 5335's "Desktop" or click "Start," "All Programs," "Orbicam."
Click on the arrow under the wording "Select Image Size" to change the webcam's resolution, if desired.
Note, a large resolution will result in a large file size for your pictures, which can result in you not being able to e-mail or upload the photo to an e-mail service or server.
Align yourself, an object or someone else, in front of the webcam. The webcam is inside the top of your Acer Aspire 5335's screen.
Click "Take Photo." The picture will appear in the "Gallery" at the bottom of the Orbicam application box. The photo is also saved in the "Pictures" folder on your computer.
Taking Pictures with the Acer Aspire 5335 Webcam
Open Orbicam or a third-party video recording application.
Align yourself, an object or someone else, in front of the webcam.
Click "Record Video" to record from the webcam using Orbicam or click "Record" to start recording video using a third-party application.
Click "Stop" to save the video to your computer.
If using Orbicam, the video will appear in the "Gallery" at the bottom of the Orbicam application box. The video is also saved in the "Videos" folder on your computer.
Recording Videos with the Acer Aspire 5335 Webcam
Open your chat client, Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live or another program by clicking on the program's icon on the "All Programs" menu.
Click on "Messenger" or "File."
Click on "My Webcam" or "Webcam." Your Acer Aspire 5335's webcam will activate, and you will see yourself in the chat client's webcam window.
Click on the name of the person with which you want to chat. The other party will see you on their end in a webcam window.

- You can also access your Acer Aspire 5335's webcam from the "My Computer" window. Click "Start," "My Computer." Click on the "Acer XXXX Webcam" icon.
