Examine the Raymond Weil case back to determine whether it features a snap-down model found on older models, screw-down that rotates off the case, or the screw-down fastened by four screws, according to Letsfixit.com. Use the tweezers to insert the replacement battery into the holder. Move the strap over the battery. Tighten the strap screw with the screwdriver.

Replace the case back and replacement gasket onto the case in the reverse order that you removed it.

Most pre-2000 Raymond Weil watches can have their batteries replaced by their owners, but contemporary watches often use special seals, or gaskets, to ensure water and moisture resistance. Don’t attempt a battery replacement on newer models.
