How to Disassemble a Dyson Ball Vacuum Cleaner

The Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner is a bagless vacuum cleaner that uses a patented ball technology design to increase maneuverability around furniture and corners in your home. Turn off the Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner and make sure that the power cord is unplugged to avoid electrical shock.

Remove the dust bin from the vacuum cleaner. The dust bin is located in the centre of the upright part of the Dyson vacuum cleaner. Push the button on top of the handle and pull the bin towards you to remove it from the vacuum.

Lay the vacuum on the floor so that you can see the bottom of the cleaning head. Press the small tab at the base of the cleaning head towards the vacuum to release the cleaning head.

Locate the small screw at one corner of the cleaning head brush casing. Use a screwdriver to turn the screw to the left and remove it. Slide the cleaning brush out of the cleaning head.

Remove the handle of the vacuum cleaner by grasping the handle and pulling it straight up firmly.

Push in the small tab at the base of the hose inlet to release the hose from the vacuum cleaner.
