Go to the official Thomas and Friends website and click on the "Games" option (see Resources). You will see options for "Puzzles," "Matching Games" and "Railway Games." You can use the train engine scroll bar on the left side of the screen to view every game.
Click on the "Railway Games" option. For any game, click on the "Play" button to begin the game. Read the instructions and click on the "Go" button to start the game. The first railway game asks you to find out where all of the engines are headed. When an arrow is pointing on a train, follow the track the train is on and then click on the station that the train should be heading to. Click on the "Next Game" option to play the next railway game available.
Click on the "Puzzles" option from the main game menu. Click on either "Escapades Puzzle" or "Engines Puzzle." For example, under "Engines Puzzle," you can choose "Easy" (four pieces), "Medium" (nine pieces) or "Difficult" (12 pieces). Click on a piece to the puzzle to rotate it so it will fit into the puzzle, and click and hold the piece to put it where it belongs in the puzzle.
Click on the "Matching Games" option from the main game menu. Choose either "Memory Matching" or "Carnival Matching." For example, under "Memory Matching," click on either "Easy," "Medium" or "Difficult." Click on any card to flip it over. You can flip over only two cards at a time. Once you find a match, the two cards will remain flipped over. Try to get all of the matches within the time limit.
Click on the "All Games" option from the main game menu. Click on the "Balloons" game option. The object of this game is to click on as many balloons as you can within 1 minute. Continue playing these games with your kids, or let them play them alone to practice reading instructions and gain learning skills.
