Tips and warnings

  • Sweetened condensed milk can be substituted for both milk and sugar and added to the chilled milk along with the syrup just before you add the ice. This is delicious and assures that the sugar will be dissolved and completely incorporated into the iced coffee.
  • Hazelnut, mint, chocolate and vanilla are delicious flavors combined with iced coffee.
  • Never add sugar to cold coffee. It won't dissolve but will remain grainy and will stay at the bottom of the cup instead of sweetening the coffee.
