Instructions

  1. 1

Turn on your PS3 and go to the "Games" menu on the XrossMediaBar. Select "MultiMAN" from the list of installed programs. Use the "Up" and "Down" keys on your keypad to highlight the program and then press the “X” button. This will start up MultiMAN.

  2. 2

Insert the games disk into the PS3. You will see the disk recognised on the MultiMAN Startup screen. Select the game and then select “Backup/Copy” in the game’s XMB sub-menu by pressing “X” on the controller. MultiMAN will ask you whether you want to copy the game to internal memory. Select “Yes.”

  3. 3

Wait for the copy process to finish. This should take about 10 minutes for a 4GB file. Return to the game’s sub-menu in MultiMAN.

Tips and warnings

  • MultiMAN cannot copy files bigger than 4GB onto the internal hard drive of the console. Instead it will split the file so that no part is bigger than 4GB and store in on an external hard drive. Owners of version 2.00.01 or later of MultiMAN can play the game off the external drive.
