How to Connect a Brother Wireless Printer to a Laptop

Brother printer owners have the capability to print documents from a laptop computer wirelessly. This lets you print without the clutter of wires as long as you have a Brother printer that has wireless ability. Though this process does not come without effort, you can configure your Brother printer in the correct manner to print wirelessly, if you understand the proper keys to press.

  1. Power on your laptop as well as your router.

  2. Power on the printer you own. Then navigate to the "Menu" of your Brother printer.

  3. Go to "Network." Click on "WLAN" and then on "Setup Wizard."

  4. Click "Enter" when you view the phrase that states "Network I/F switched to Wireless" in your window.

  5. Find your network on the results list and then click "Enter." Look for the encryption type of your network and click "Enter" again.
