Hi, this is Angie Warner for Pro Beauty at pro Pilates in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. And today, I'm going to talk to you about how to get rid of pimples deep underneath the skin. There's two types of acne: Non-inflammatory acne, and inflammatory acne. And, the deep seated pimples underneath the skin is your inflammatory acne. Those are referred to as nodules or cysts. And, there's really not a lot you can do in order to get those out right away. You have to be patient. They do not have an opening in which to be cleared, so you have to be patient, and allow the nodule to work its way out through the blood and lymphatic system. One way you can do that is by creating a home concoction of essential oils of two parts chamomile, and one part lavender, and using a hot compress, and applying that to the skin several times a week. It is important to not attempt to remove the nodule, as it is outside of the follicle, and can cause scarring if you press too hard around that area. So, just be patient. So, I have some hot water, two parts of chamomile, one part lavender. Dip in your cotton pad, squeeze out the excess, and this'll be your hot compress that you're going to apply directly onto the affected area. So, I'm going to apply this onto my model's skin. A lot of times, they're around the jawline. This can be due to hormonal imbalances. And, I'm just going to lightly hold this on. You can do this at home yourself several times a week, and it should start to go down. Just remember, do not pick at the nodule. But, if you have a cyst, you should see your dermatologist, so there might be some other underlying condition going on.
