"Now that we have our stencils all cut out, we're going to apply the etching cream. We always want to make sure that we shake it up first, and make sure that you have something protective down on the table in case it, you get a little bit on the table because it will eat the surface of your table, the finish, and you don't want that. Use our Popsicle stick and just spread it over the parts that we have cut out. Remember that this is going to etch where the vinyl isn't. The vinyl's going to protect the parts that we don't want etched. We have a thick coating so that you can't even see the stencil that we've put on there. And we've got to make sure that it's all completely covered because it doesn't work very well if you try and go back and fix it. Just do one side at a time so that it doesn't spread onto other parts. It's just easier to do it one side at a time. We're going to leave this on for five minutes this time. With the rub and etch you only need to leave it on a minute, but with this vinyl you're going to need to leave it on for five minutes before we rinse it off. Make sure that you rinse off your brush or your Popsicle stick or whatever applicator you use to put it on. You're going to rinse that off immediately. Now we just wait for five minutes and we'll be done with it."
