Fundraising does not have to be a bore. By setting up creative fundraising booths, schools groups and other organisations can effectively earn the operating capital they require. With unique fundraising booths, more potential supporters are likely to stop by and purchase goods or services, providing funding to the group raising funds.

Photo Booth

Many people enjoy having their pictures taken while posing with friends or family members at events. Set up a fundraiser photo booth with backdrop, digital camera and photo printing station at your booth. Allow booth visitors to pose for pictures and purchase prints of their images. Offer an assortment of creative backdrops, such as the beach, a mountain or outer space.

Bake Off

Trade the standard bake sale for a less common competitiv- baking fundraiser by setting up a bake off booth. Allow individuals who consider themselves skilled bakers to enter a tasty treat in this competition. Portion out small quantities of each treat and allow booth visitors to try the creations and vote on a winner for a small fee. Award the winner a ribbon for her efforts or, to improve the enticing nature of the competition, split the money earned with the winning baker.

Used Book Sale Booth

Recycle works of literary merit and simultaneously earn money for your organisation. Collect previously read books from group members or others within the community who wish to rid their bookshelves of books they've read. Sell these previously, but gently owned books for greatly reduced amounts, allowing literature lovers to pick up some new reading material, while you earn cash for your group.

Balloon Pop Booth

Give donors the opportunity to press their luck by setting up a balloon pop booth. To prepare this booth, gather an assortment of prizes to offer to booth visitors, balloons and slips of paper. Write the names of these prizes on some slips of paper and leave the others blank. Fold each slip of paper, and place it into a balloon. Blow up your paper-filled balloons. Place all your balloons in a bin that is within the reach of booth visitors. When donors arrive at the booth, allow them to select a balloon for a set donation amount. After selecting the balloon, the booth visitor must pop it and retrieve the paper to see if he has won anything. Hand out the prizes as visitors pop the balloons containing the prize-bearing slips of paper. Not only will your booth visitors have fun popping these balloons, the unmistakable sound of a balloon pop may even attract other potential fund providers.
