Installing a new engine in your Mazda MX-3 can extend your vehicle's usable life while also acting as a performance upgrade. The MX-3 was offered for sale in two different engine classes, the in-line four-cylinder RS model and the V-6 GS model. The MX-3 RS with the four-cylinder engine can accommodate engines from the Mazda B-Series engine line, while the MX-3 GS with the six-cylinder engine can accommodate engine swaps from the Mazda K-Series engine line.
