Oxford singles looking for fun, friendship or something with a bit more dazzle have plenty of club options from which to choose. From low-key Oxford social groups to high-energy dating organisations, the Oxford scene is bubbling with possibilities, regardless of your age or area of interest. For Oxford singles who have never been married or those who are widowed or divorced, banishing loneliness has never been easier.

Oxfordshire IVC

The Oxfordshire IVC hosts a variety of activities, from a monthly book group to disco dances. Why not add some socialising to a brisk walk? The club sponsors Sunday walks that range from three to 12 miles at venues such as Chedworth, Eynsham and Sunningwell. Members also enjoy weekly tennis and badminton dates. Bridge enthusiasts as well as beginners can try their hand every Wednesday through the club. Dancing, weekend outings, cocktailing, parties and dinners engagements round out this group's frenetic calendar. All activities are run by club members. Membership starts at £5 a month.

No Oxford single will be left to languish after perusing the RSVP club's calendar, which features up to 60 events per month. This energetic group offers activities such as white water rafting and mountain biking for the adventurous Oxford single, to Sunday lunches and music festivals for more laid-back members. RSVP's members mix it up every possible way, with weekend getaways, elegant "grand balls," dinner dances, cycling, walking events and archery. The organisation even offers eclectic developmental workshops such as the "art of seduction" and "cookery." Prospective members may select a Neon Singles Events Membership, or a Gold, Platinum, or Platinum Plus dating membership.
