Joomla and WordPress are both content management systems that allow you to create your own blog, e-commerce website, online magazine or corporate Web portal. You can quickly export your Joomla content to the XML format used by WordPress by installing the exporting component for Joomla. The exporting component allows you to create an XML dump of all of your Joomla posts, comments and website content for WordPress. After installing and running the plugin, you will then be able to import your new XML file directly into WordPress.
