How to Repair the Bezel on a Citizen Watch

Updated March 23, 2017

Watches are high precision instruments. Repairing a bezel on a Citizen watch might seem like a simple task, but you must be careful as any work you perform on the watch will void the warranty on the watch. You will also need custom Citizen tools to repair the watch. It's easier and safer to send your watch to an authorised Citizen repair centre to have the watch bezel fixed properly.

Take the watch to a Citizen regional centre if you live near the service centres in Chicago, Dallas, Detroit or Georgia. Explain to a representative at the centre that the bezel needs repair and request a price quote. The dealer will give you a quote and will commence the repair when you agree to it.

Package the watch in a sturdy container if you do not live near a regional centre. Include in the package your contact details and e-mail address, proof of purchase and a warranty card. Write an explanation about the broken bezel. Note the case and serial numbers of the watch.

Send the watch to your nearest Citizen service centre via insured mail. A quote will be sent to you and when you return payment for the service, the service will be carried out.

Go to Citizen's website if you do not live in the U.S. Click on your country followed by the nearest city. Note down the details of your nearest service centre and whether you can deliver the watch by hand or have to send it in.
