Facebook does not allow users to post content that violates your rights or breaks the law. If a Facebook user has posted content that you believe is slanderous, you may be able to get that content removed from the website. Report the violation to Facebook's administrative team using Facebook's "Report a Violation" page.
Open a Web browser and navigate to Facebook's "Report a Violation of the Facebook Terms" page (Facebook.com/help).
Type your e-mail address in the "Your Email Address" field at the top of the page.
Type the URL of the Facebook profile belonging to the person who has slandered you in the "URL (web address) of the person responsible" field.
Type the URL of the page containing slanderous content in the "URL of exact content you are reporting" field.
Enter the name of the person whom you believe has slandered you in the "Full name of the person you would like to report" field.
Answer whether you have reported this Facebook user previously in the "Have you reported this on the site already" field.
Describe why you believe this person has slandered you in the "Description of the violation" field.
Click the "Submit" button to send the report to Facebook.
Most items that can be posted on Facebook have "Report" links that you can use to report infringing content without filling out the full form. For example, profiles have "Report This Person" links and pages have "Report Page" links.
