There are many items in your home that use a large amount of electricity, and while these items may be important, their power usage is costing you money. The Grasslin Digi 20E is a digital electric timing device that is professionally installed in your home or business. This device allows you to set up a programmable schedule for a certain circuit, such as a lighting system or heating and cooling system. This helps ensure the system is on when you want it and off when you want to conserve power.

    Press the "Reset" button to clear any previous programs and reset the time on the device. You will see the day, time and AM/PM symbols begin to flash. Press and hold down the "Clock" key to begin setting the current time. Press the "H" button to increase the hour one unit, the "M" button to increase the minutes one unit and "Day" to select the current day.

    Release the "Clock" button to save the current time. Press the "Prog" button once to enter programming mode. Press the "On/Off" button, which is shaped like a hand, to choose whether you want this program to turn the system on or off. A symbol will appear on the screen indicating the "On" setting is chosen and disappear when the "Off" setting is chosen.

    Press the "H" button to change the hour that you want to program. Ensure that the hour is either AM or PM depending on the time of day you want to set the program for. Press the "M" button to change the minute that you want the program to start.

    Press the "Day" button to choose a day for the program to take place. Each time you press this button, a number or series of numbers from one to seven will appear on the screen. One corresponds to Monday, while seven is Sunday. Keep pressing the button until the single day or series of days you want is on the screen. Press the "Prog" button once more to save the program.
