Certain Palm handheld models come with small software packages called conduits that allow you to sync data from Microsoft Outlook with your PDA. After you've installed an Outlook conduit on your PC, you can transfer Outlook data to the address book, calendar or memo pad on your Palm handheld. If you no longer want to exchange data between your PDA and Outlook, you can uninstall the Palm Outlook conduits.
