There are a number of ways to display your webcam on your personal website. Many web broadcasting sites, such as Justin.TV and Ustream, include embed links for users with account to stream their webcam to personal websites. Tokbox, a company which offers a free webcam embed code, allows you to add a full video chat room to your website.

Instructions

    Using Ustream

  1. 1

    Log in to or create a Ustream account at www.ustream.tv.>

    Create a show by clicking on the drop-down menu next to your username and select "Go to Dashboard." Click "Create a show" under "Manage My Channel."

    Click "Go Live" to begin broadcasting.

  4. 4

    Go to your channel's page and click "Embed" beneath the webcam stream.

    Copy the embed code and paste it in to your website's HTML code. If you are using a content management system, such as Wordpress, create a new post and add the code in HTML mode. The webcam stream should now display on your site.

    Using Justin.tv

    Log in or create a Justin.tv account.

  2. 2

    Click "Go Live" in the top right corner.

    Follow the prompts to begin your broadcast.

    Click "Embed" under the "Sharing Tab" beside the stream.

    Copy and paste the embed code in to your website's HTML code. The code can also be added to a new post in a content management system, like Wordpress or Blogger, by switching the post to HTML mode. The webcam should now be visible on your website.

    Using Tokbox

  1. 1

    Go to Tokbox.com. Click the "Add to your site" button.

    Select a chat size and click "Next."

  3. 3

    Enter your name and e-mail address. Click "Grab the code."

  4. 4

    Copy and paste the embed code in to the HTML code of your website. If you want to add the code to a content management system, paste the code in to a new post set to HTML mode. You will be e-mailed a secret word so that you can moderate the chat.

    Go to your website and click on the chat to begin broadcasting your webcam.
