The iPhone is one of the most capable and popular phones in the world. One major limitation it has however, is the fact that it's only available through two networks: AT&T and Verizon Wireless. In order to get around this, you must unlock your phone. Unlocking is a process that allows your phone to use prepaid SIM cards from other carriers, thus allowing you to use an alternative network while still keeping your phone. This process can be done relatively easily using a free program called ZiPhone 3.0.
