The internal speakers in most TVs can provide adequate audio for most users, but you want improved playback performance, a Samsung soundbar can provide greater sound fidelity. Although these soundbars rely on a unique form factor, installation simply relies on several common audio connectivity accessories.

Things you need
- Bundled audio or optical cable
Locate the speaker input jacks on the backside of your soundbar. Typically, you will see an optical audio and 3.5mm audio jacks. Both ports provide the same functionality, so whichever cable you want to use comes down to personal preference.
Attach the appropriate end of the corresponding cable to the soundbar. The 3.5mm audio jack will be identical to a headphone jack on an MP3 player, while the optical audio jack is roughly square-shaped.
Attach the other end of the cable to your TV to finish the installation process. The optical cable will fit into a jack identical to the one on the soundbar, while the audio cable splits off into an RCA cable. With the RCA end, make sure that the colours match up between the TV and cable.
