Not all PC games were designed with game pads in mind. And for some PC games, a game controller is just more manageable than a mouse and keypad --- first-person shooters are undoubtedly excluded. But with the help of Pinnacle Game Profiler, you can bind your games' actions to the buttons on your game pad and control your games the way you want to.
Launch Pinnacle Game Profiler. From the "Game Profiles" menu, select the game to which you'd like to apply your controller adjustments. Click "Edit Configurations" option, and click the "New Configuration" button when the "Controller Configurations" menu appears.
Click on the "Device" menu box to select the game pad you'd like to use.
Right-click on any of the actions you'd like to change in the "Command Assignments" and "Direction Pad" lists.
Select the new action from the context menu that appears --- the new action will be assigned to the adjacent button on the left side of the "Command Assignments" list.
Type a unique name for your settings into the "Config Name" field. Click the "Save and Close" button at the bottom of the program.
