How to view someone's YouTube icon picture

Updated April 17, 2017

To upload a video to YouTube, you must first make a YouTube account. Part of this account making process involves selecting an icon image that will serve as the main image associated with your YouTube account. If you wish to view the icon image of a YouTube user, you can browse his YouTube channel to find it.

Open the computer's Web browser and navigate to the YouTube (youtube.com) home page.

Type the name of the YouTube account for which you want to view the icon image. YouTube generates a list of the videos that match that search description.

Click on the user name listed beneath one of the search results to navigate to the user's YouTube channel.

Scroll down to the "Profile" section of the YouTube channel. View the YouTube account's icon image next to the account's user name directly above the "Profile" section of the YouTube channel.
