LogMeIn is a remote access service that lets authorised users remotely control your computer through their browser. LogMeIn is sometimes deployed as part of a corporate network or as part of a network where users should not be able to monitor or control LogMeIn's settings. Hiding the LogMeIn icon as part of the program's settings helps to remove LogMeIn status messages from your system tray.
