The Bose Docking Station plays the audio files on your portable media player over a station's speaker system and charges the player's battery. The station is designed to dock with most iPhone and iPod models and supports connection to your iPod shuffle. The shuffle won't dock with the station, but you can play the songs stored to the shuffle by using the auxiliary input on the rear of the device.
