Updated March 23, 2017

BitLord is a torrent downloader that resembles a search engine database. It is a freeware, which means it is free to download. You have the ability to search for millions of torrents from various torrent sites from BitLord. A torrent is a file format sent to a torrent client. A torrent can be any type of file including video games, music, movies or software applications. You must have a torrent client such as Azureus Vuze or UTorrent to download a torrent.

Run BitLord. Click "Start," "All Programs," "BitLord" and then BitLord to run BitLord.

Search for a torrent of your choice. Type the name of the file you want to download at the upper left corner of BitLord in the search box and then press "Enter." BitLord searches for the torrent, and the file is located on the right side of the program.

Double-click on the torrent file and then press "Download Torrent." A message window appears that asks you to save the torrent to your computer.

Save the torrent on your computer. Your torrent client should automatically open to begin downloading the torrent.

Go to the BitLord folder once the torrent file is complete. Click "Start," "Accessories" and "Run." Type this command into the "Run" dialogue box: "%APPDATA%\bitlord\" This is the folder where the torrent file is located.
