Updated April 17, 2017

Bluetooth technology is a popular feature on cellphones but most modern laptops come with this feature as well. One computer that comes with the Bluetooth feature is the Dell Vostro 1520. If you are interested in using the Bluetooth on this unit you will find that it can be enabled right from the main desktop screen.

Turn on your Dell Vostro and locate the vertical task bar at the bottom of the main desktop screen. This is where the Bluetooth icon is located. It is an icon in the shape of a vertical antenna that slightly resembles a capital "B."

Use your mouse to click on the icon and a window will appear detailing a list of options.

Click "Turn Bluetooth On" from the list of options in the window. The icon will then light up and Bluetooth will then be enabled on the Vostro 1520.
