Hover your mouse over the word "Edit" in the upper right-hand corner of this screen. As you hover over it, you will see the words "Name Your Civilization" appear. Click on "Edit."
Enter in the Leader Name, Civilization Name, Civilization Short Name, and Civilization Adjective on the new menu. You can change everything, or you can just change one option, the decision is up to you.
Select "Accept" to save the changes to your civilisation's name.
You cannot change the name of your civilation any time after you start the game, so be sure to make the name change when you are at the "Game Setup" menu.
