How to Mute Clips in Pinnacle

Pinnacle Studio is consumer-grade video-editing software that provides regular computer users with the tools to edit video. Pinnacle studio allows users to add effects, colour-correct, splice shots together and insert audio tracks in their videos. If you want to replace the audio of a clip, you can mute the audio track from within the timeline window. You can restore the volume at any time.

Instructions

    Click on an audio track. Audio files are identifiable by the "speaker" or "microphone" icon to the left of the track.

    Click the blue line in the centre of the audio track to select the audio level bar. A blue square will appear on the audio level bar.

  3. 3

    Drag the blue square to the bottom of the track to mute the audio.
