Pinnacle Studio is consumer-grade video-editing software that provides regular computer users with the tools to edit video. Pinnacle studio allows users to add effects, colour-correct, splice shots together and insert audio tracks in their videos. If you want to replace the audio of a clip, you can mute the audio track from within the timeline window. You can restore the volume at any time.

Skill level:
Moderately Easy

  1. 1

Click on an audio track. Audio files are identifiable by the "speaker" or "microphone" icon to the left of the track.

  2. 2

Click the blue line in the centre of the audio track to select the audio level bar. A blue square will appear on the audio level bar.

  3. 3

Drag the blue square to the bottom of the track to mute the audio.
