When writing a piece of academic work, it is important that you properly cite all of your references. Academic sourcing and referencing shows where information like your arguments and quotations comes from. There are various referencing styles and your educational institution decides which you should use. If you have an ISBN book reference, you can use an online generator to get the reference for it.

Skill level:
Moderately Easy

  1. 1

Go to Son of Citation machine (for MLA and APA), Harvard Referencing Generator (for Harvard) or OttoBib (for MLA, APA, Chicago, BibTeX and Wikipedia) on the Internet.

Type the ISBN code of the book into the space provided.

  3. 3

Click your referencing option and then press "Enter."
