How to Hide Your Profile in Amazon

Updated February 21, 2017

Amazon is a website dedicated to buying and selling merchandise. Though the primary focus of Amazon is on buying and selling products, there is also a large focus on product reviews and information. Regular users are able to write reviews about products they buy, and readers are able to view some limited information about the writer of the review in the writer's profile. If you don't want your Amazon profile to be viewable, you can change your settings so it will be hidden.

Visit Amazon, sign into your account and then click on "Your Account" at the top-right of the page.

Scroll down the "Your Account" page to the "Personalization" section and click on "Your Public Profile."

Click the "Edit Your Profile" button at the top-right of the page and select "Private" in the "Show in Your Profile to" section.

Click "Save Your Profile" to save your changes and hide your profile.
