How to Change the Order of Tracks on SoundCloud

Updated April 17, 2017

SoundCloud is an online service that allows you to showcase your audio creativity. You do not have to be a musician, entertainer or even a digital sound wizard to use the service. Simply upload any audio clip that you wish to share with the world. Each clip that you upload is a "track." You can upload multiple tracks. By default, the website displays these tracks in the order that you create them if you have a free membership. If you upgrade your membership, you can order your tracks any way you like.

Navigate to the SoundCloud Account page and review their membership plans. They come in various price ranges. Higher priced plans provide more features.

Sign up for the Lite, Solo, Pro or Pro Plus plan. If you already have a free plan, you will simply upgrade it by choosing one of the paid memberships. After you sign up, you will be able to use the "Spotlight" service to order up to five of your tracks.

Log on to your SoundCloud account after choosing one of the paid memberships. Navigate to your public profile and click the "gear" icon to access your profile settings.

Click "Add Spotlight Tab" to display the "Spotlight Tab" pop-up. You will see a list of your existing tracks.

Click up to five tracks to select them. If you do not see a track you would like to use, enter a few keywords from the desired track in the "Search" box and click the magnifying glass icon to find it.

Drag the tracks up and down in the pop-up window to arrange them in the order that you want them to appear on the site.

Click "Save Spotlight Tab" to save your configuration.
