Troubleshooting certain error codes, such as error code 13, which indicates a clogged drain pump or hose, takes just a few steps.

Instructions

    Disconnect the dishwasher from the power source. Place a towel under the front of the dishwasher to protect the floor.

    Open the access port on the front of the dishwasher and locate the drain pump cleanout.

  3. 3

    Turn the cleanout counterclockwise and clean away any debris. Use a shop vac to suction out any remaining water.

  4. 4

    Return the cleanout to the dishwasher and tighten. Close the access port.

  5. 5

    Reconnect the dishwasher. If the error code remains, contact an authorised service technician.
