Most modern Honda vehicles have a factory installed antitheft alarm system that goes off if the door unlocks without the use of the remote transmitter or key. - Remote transmitter
Press the "Unlock" button on the remote transmitter to unlock the vehicle.
Open the driver's door.
Place the key in the ignition and turn it to the "II" position.
Place the key in the driver's side door lock.
Turn the key left to unlock the door.
Open the door and place the key in the ignition.
Switch the key to the "II" position.
