    Creating Your Own Stick Figure Movie

    Download Pivot Stickfigure Animator. Pivot's download can be easily accessed through a Google search. After the download is complete, install.

    Open Pivot. Once the program is opened, a condensed window will appear on your screen, displaying a black stick figure. This is the figure with which you will be working. If you would like to add another character, click "Add Figure" and drag the stick figure to a desired location by clicking the yellow dot found at its abdomen.

    Click on any of the red dots attached to the stick figure. Clicking these red dots while dragging them across the screen allows you to create your stick figure's movements.

    Click "Next Frame." After you are satisfied with your first movement, click "Next Frame" at the bottom of the Pivot window. This will allow you to create your following movements.

    View your movie by pressing "play" at the top of the Pivot window. By doing so, you can see your complete film. If you are satisfied with the results, you can save your movie by clicking "File" and "Save Animation."

Tips and warnings

  • If you prefer a lengthy movie, be sure to add numerous slides. The speed of the stick figure's movements are set a relatively fast pace.
