The Volvo XC90 is a midsize luxury sports utility vehicle manufactured from 2002 to present. You can access the inside of the door panel by removing it from your Volvo XC90. Maybe you need to install new speakers or remove window glass. Whatever the reason, this job should only take you about an hour to complete. You don't need any technical skills. You only need a few basic automotive tools to complete this job.

- Torx screwdriver
Raise the bonnet and remove the negative battery cable with a wrench and set it aside.
Pry up the triangular-shaped corner part of the door panel with a flathead screwdriver.
Pry up the coin holder in the armrest with a flathead screwdriver. Remove the screw behind it with a Torx screwdriver.
Pop the door panel out of the eight clips that are holding the edge of the door panel to the frame. Do this by inserting a tiny Phillips screwdriver into the push-pins on the clips.
Pull the panel away from the door with force. Unplug the wiring harness behind the panel.
Remove the door panel out of the vehicle.
