If you've got two digital comic book (CBR) files on your computer that you would like to join into one file, you can do so using Windows Explorer and a program capable of extracting RAR archives. You need to extract all of the files from each CBR file into one location. You then add that location to a RAR archive and convert the RAR back to a CBR to finish the combination process.

  1. 1

Right-click your desktop. Click "New" and "Folder." This will create a new folder labelled "New Folder" on your desktop.

  2. 2

Rename the two CBR files you want to join so that their extension is .rar instead of .cbr. Right-click the files and click "Rename." This converts them from CBR archive into regular RAR archives.

  3. 3

Extract the two CBR files into the "New Folder" you created on your desktop using a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip (see Resources). Once one of these programs capable of handling RAR files is installed on your computer, right-click the RAR files and click "Extract To." Click the icon for "New Folder" to extract their contents into the "New Folder" on your desktop.

  4. 4

Right-click on "New Folder." Click "Add to RAR archive." This will create a new RAR archive, called "New Folder.rar," on your desktop.

  5. 5

Rename "New Folder.rar" to "New Folder.cbr" on your desktop. This will merge the two CBR files together into one CBR file.
