The iPhone has several built-in security features that prevent other people from using your iPhone. One such security feature is the passcode lock or user code. This feature requires the user to input a password every time the iPhone is powered on or changed from standby to active mode. By default, the iPhone does not require you to enter a user code. If, however, the user code was activated, you can remove this passcode lock at any time.
