How to Heat Up Quiche

Quiche is an egg pie that requires careful heating to prevent it from becoming tough and chewy. Like an omelette, anything can go into a quiche: spinach, cheese, ham, sausage or bacon. This dish makes a savoury option for a brunch or light dinner that freezes and reheats well.

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C if preparing a freshly made, uncooked quiche. Preheat the oven to 176 degrees C if you are reheating a frozen quiche.

Bake a fresh, uncooked quiche at 190 degrees C for 33 to 38 minutes or until it's firm throughout the centre.

Reheat a frozen quiche at 176 degrees C. Cook the quiche from a frozen state uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes or until warmed through.
