How to Install a FIAMM Horn

FIAMM is a brand of aftermarket horn that drivers install in their vehicle when the stock horn dies or they would like an upgraded horn. The horn is installed under the hood of the vehicle, near the grille. Installation takes a few simple steps and can be done without the assistance of a mechanic.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Lift the bonnet of the car and stabilise it.

  2. 2

    Find the stock horn in the engine compartment.

  3. 3

    Unscrew all the screws mounting the stock horn to the compartment. Pull out the power cable and remove the horn.

  4. 4

    Place the FIAMM horn into the compartment and mount it using the screws that came with it. Plug the power cable into the FIAMM horn.

  5. 5

    Close the bonnet of the car and test the horn.
