How to Remove the Rear Light Unit From a Toyota Previa

The Toyota Previa is a large Japanese minivan with five doors. When your Toyota Previa is involved in a rear end collision, the rear light units are prone to break and crack. When the Previa's rear light unit is cracked or broken it will need to be removed from the vehicle for a new one to be installed. Removing the Previa's rear light unit is easy to do.

Open the Previa's back hatch lid.

Remove the Previa's latch that is found inside the Previa, behind its rear light unit, by pulling at it with a flathead screwdriver, exposing two Phillips head screws.

Remove the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver, counterclockwise.

Slide the rear light unit away from your Toyota Previa.
