Updated April 17, 2017

The Toughbook CF-29 is a version of the Panasonic Toughbook that was built for business applications. It has a 1.5 GHz processor, a 13.3-inch LCD and up to seven hours of battery life. You may adjust the sensitivity and the accuracy of a press on the Toughbook touch screen by modifying it in the touch screen settings. It comes equipped with Windows XP, and the adjustment of the touch screen is part of the Panasonic ToughBook Configuration application that comes preinstalled with the notebook.

Click "Start," "All Programs," "Panasonic" and "Toughbook Configuration."

Click "Display."

Click "Touchscreen Properties."

Slide the "Sensitivity" bar until it reaches your desired level. Farther left is less sensitive and farther right is more sensitive.

Click "Print Size" to define the centre of your touch. Click the red box on the screen as it moves with your finger until the test completes. This resizes the screen to your finger tip.

Click "Apply.
