KitchenAid appliances have long been associated with cooking and food preparation by many home and professional chefs. The KitchenAid blender is one such appliance used for a variety of food preparation tasks. Featuring stainless steel blades and easy-to-use controls with dedicated chopping, mixing and other actions, KitchenAid blenders such as the five-speed Ultra Power blender are welcome additions to many kitchens. Basic assembly is necessary before using a KitchenAid blender.
Place the KitchenAid blender base on a sturdy and level work surface. Position the base so that the attached power cord can easily reach an electrical socket.
Turn the KitchenAid blender jar upside down on the work surface so that the small diameter opening on the bottom of the jar is facing up.
Hold the blade assembly and place the sealing ring around the cutting blades. Slide the sealing ring over the cutting blades and position it around the edge of the assembly.
Place the cutting assembly on the bottom of the blender so that the blades are inserted through the small diameter opening on the jar that is facing up. Seat the blade assembly on the jar so that the sealing ring is flush against the bottom of the jar.
Hold the KitchenAid blender jar with one hand and turn the locking collar on the blade assembly clockwise with the other hand so it is securely in place. Place the assembled jar on the blender base for use.
