How to Reset the WiFi Card in an LG X120

Your LG X120 netbook computer does come with a built in W-Fi receiver; however, you may choose to extend the wireless connection by installing a new wireless card. This expands the connection base available for your computer, giving you stronger access to more Internet connections. However, if the Wi-Fi card is not working properly, you may want to reset the card to its factory settings.

    Disconnect the wireless card from your LG X120.

    Click the "Start" button, then choose "Control Panel," followed by "System and Maintenance." Choose "Device Manager," and a window loads with all the installed hardware on your computer system.

    Right-click the Wi-Fi card you have installed, then choose "Delete." This removes the wireless card information from your LG X120. Restart the computer once finished.

    Navigate to the Wi-Fi card's manufacturing website. Choose "Support," then select "Drivers and Downloads." (Note the exact phrasing may differ slightly, depending on the website you are using.) Follow the prompts of the wizard to install the driver back onto the computer.
