Morphing photos on the Internet is good fun. (Stockbroker/Valueline/Getty Images)

Creating a morph of someone is something fun to do while on the Internet. The range of possibilities is high, whether you want to combine two celebrities, or see what your child would look like. All you need is a picture saved on your computer, and access to the Internet, and you can have hours of fun morphing pictures into others. Whether you want to merge or simply distort photos, both are easy to do on the Internet.

  1. 1

Decide which photos you would like to morph. If, for example, you want to combine your face with that of a celebrity, you must have both photos on your computer. If you find a picture on the Internet, right-click and select "Save As," or drag the photo onto your desktop.

  2. 2

Log on to the Internet, and visit a morphing site. These sites may or may not require users to sign up. Once access to one of these photo morphing sites is gained, upload photos and begin the morphing process.

A popular photo-morphing site is "Morph Thing," which is easy to use and also features its own entertaining celebrity morphs. Another photo-morphing site option is "Perception Laboratory" which allows users to morph photos by gender, race and age. This site can also turn photographs into caricatures and reproduce them in the style of famous artists. Another fun site is "Make Me Babies," which will morph two photos of two different people into a prediction of what their baby would look like. Though this can also be done at "Morph Thing," "Make Me Babies" specialised in it.

  3. 3

Tell the computer where the features lie on your photo. You will have to align circles to tell the software where the eyes, nose, mouth, hairline and other features are. This is a required step in most morphing sites as it allows the morphing software to know where and how to morph the face.

  4. 4

Click "Finish", or a similarly titled button, to complete your morphing, and let the software do the rest. Most websites will give you the option to "Share" via Facebook or Twitter, although you can right-click and select "Save As" or drag the photo onto your desktop.
