A Zumo is a GPS unit, or global positioning system, manufactured by Garmin. This GPS unit is designed to help guide drivers to a specific destination by tracking the GPS's location through satellite technology and then providing the driver with directions based on that location. If the unit is not working correctly or is frozen, a soft reset is the first step to troubleshoot the problem. A soft reset will not delete any saved information, but it will delete any information that has not been saved.
Press and hold down the "Power" button, located on the lower right-hand side of the Garmin Zumo unit.
Push and hold down the "+" button, located on the upper left-hand side of the unit.
Release both buttons when the unit begins to reboot.
