FileZilla is an FTP client that allows you to transfer data between your computer and a Web server. Although the speed of a download can be affected by the type of Internet connection used on either end, there may be limitations to making this type of change, such as a limited budget or restricted access on the server. FileZilla offers you the ability to manually configure its default settings to increase the download speed up to 2 megabytes a second.
