Nissan installs round speakers, 6 1/2-inch in diameter, to the front doors of its cars. Since many aftermarket speakers come in the same size, installation of new speakers in the doors of your Nissan will not require any cutting or modifications. You will need to remove the door panels of your Nissan to complete this job.

- Phillips screwdriver
Pry up and remove the armrest from underneath the door panel, using a panel tool. Remove the two Phillips screws exposed by the removal of the armrest.
Pry out the trim that surrounds the door release pull, using a panel tool. Pry the plastic cup located behind the door release pull out with a panel tool. Remove the Phillips screw located behind this piece.
Pry around the sides and bottom of the door panel with a panel tool to release the clips holding the door panel in place. Lift the door panel off the door and set it aside.
Unscrew the four Phillips screws holding the speaker in place. Pull out the speaker and disconnect the wiring.
Plug the wiring into the new speaker and screw it into the door cavity.
Test the speaker and replace the door panel by following Steps 1 through 3 in reverse order.
Repeat Steps 1 through 7 to replace the speaker in the other door panel.
