"Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2" is a real-time strategy game in which you take control of military units, build bases, and fight for dominance. Along with the immersive storylines of the main game, you are able to do battle against other players or computer-guided foes using maps. Available maps come in official releases from Westwood Studios (the developers of the game), and from fans of the game, who create them with "Red Alert 2" map-editing tools.

Download official "Red Alert 2" map packs released by Westwood Studios at GameSpot (see References for link). You must have a registered account to download maps but registration is free.
Register for an account by filling in the required information including username, active e-mail address, a password, your date of birth, and your gender. Check your e-mail account for the confirmation e-mail message. Open the email and click on the confirmation link.
Select a map pack and click "Download Now" below the description. Once on the download page, click "Download" below the screenshot. If the download does not begin as soon as the page has finished loading, click the highlighted "here" to begin downloading.
Go to the "Red Alert 2" downloads page at Cncgames (see References for link). Cncgames is a site run by fans of the "Red Alert" universe and it offers free map downloads for all "Red Alert" games. Registration is not required for downloads.
Select a "Red Alert 2" download section. Beside each section, you will find the number of maps available and a description of the maps within that section.
Download a map. You will find a listing of the available maps separated by map name, map description, and the size of the map. To download a map, click on its name.
